Through the FishCoRe Project, we provided strategic advice to strengthen the climate resilience of the aquaculture sector, working with the Philippines Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) to identify production challenges and develop practical measures for improving sustainability and long-term performance.

We focused on three priority areas: milkfish seed supply, sustainable seaweed farming, and expanded shellfish production (oysters and green mussels), identifying a range of actions within these areas to build industry resilience.
