Johnny Wright MSc
Director and Lead Consultant
Johnny is an environmental scientist and aquaculture specialist with over 20 years of experience across New Zealand, Asia, the Middle East, and the Pacific. Holding a Master’s degree in Marine Biology, he has led complex projects spanning environmental impact assessment, sustainable aquaculture, climate adaptation, and coastal ecosystem restoration.
Working across both public and private sectors, Johnny partners with clients to design and deliver projects that solve real-world problems. His work is grounded in practical, science-based solutions that build resilience and economic opportunity, particularly for underserved coastal and indigenous communities.
As an experienced delivery manager, Johnny is outcome-driven and committed to aligning economic development with environmental sustainability. He works well across cultures and disciplines, applying his technical expertise in ways that are grounded, adaptable, and locally relevant.
